Live Nation Entertainment is taking over operations of Impact Arena, one of Thailand’s most prominent live entertainment venues.
Under the agreement, Live Nation will work alongside Impact’s founding developer, Bangkok Land, to modernize the arena’s infrastructure and enhance the concert experience for both fans and artists. Planned upgrades include improvements to food and beverage offerings, premium seating options, wayfinding, ticketing systems, and concessions, along with refreshed exterior lighting and backstage amenities.
Live Nation said the enhancements are designed to streamline production logistics and reduce turnaround times for touring artists and crews, allowing for increased booking opportunities while supporting the local live entertainment economy.
Impact Arena has been a cornerstone of Thailand’s live music scene for decades, hosting major international artists and large-scale events. The partnership aims to reinforce the venue’s status as a key tour stop for global acts while continuing to serve as a platform for local talent amid rising demand for live entertainment across Southeast Asia.
The upgraded venue will also introduce new brand activation opportunities, with immersive onsite experiences planned for future events. Disney On Ice, (G)I-DLE’s 2026 World Tour, and Bowkylion are among the acts already confirmed to perform at Impact Arena in 2026.
“Bangkok is one of Asia’s most exciting cultural hubs, and Impact Arena has played a pivotal role in its live entertainment story,” Stephanie Bax, president of venue development for Live Nation Asia, said in a press release. “Together with Bangkok Land, we’re investing in the future of live music in Thailand to ensure Impact Arena remains a must-play destination for both emerging local talent and global touring artists.”
Live Nation said the partnership aligns with its broader international growth strategy, combining local market expertise with its global resources to strengthen Bangkok’s position as a leading destination for live entertainment.
The entertainment giant’ recently acquired Denmark’s Royal Arena, announced a naming rights deal for Toronto’s Waterfront Amphitheater, and entered a majority-stake partnership in Movistar Arena Santiago.
