Pro Padel League Gets National TV Boost With CNBC Broadcast Deal

The Pro Padel League is turning its 2026 season into a bigger national showcase.

The league announced a new broadcast partnership with USA Sports that will bring five PPL championship matches to CNBC throughout the 2026 season, giving the fast-growing padel property a larger platform as it pushes deeper into the North American sports market.

The deal marks the first time PPL matches will air exclusively on a national TV network, a notable step for a league that launched in 2023 and is working to convert padel’s rising recreational popularity into a larger live-event and media business.

Under the agreement, CNBC will carry the championship match from each of the PPL’s five 2026 events: New York on July 12, Los Angeles on August 16, Playa del Carmen on September 27, Guadalajara on November 22, and the City’s Cup Finals in Miami on December 6. Three broadcasts will feature men’s finals, while two will feature women’s finals.

The expanded TV presence arrives as PPL builds out the commercial side of its operation. The league recently announced a $15 million Series A financing round led by Charlotte Hornets Co-Chairman and Governor Rick Schnall, along with new partnerships with Frederique Constant, Franklin Sports, Engine and Padeltek.

For PPL, the CNBC deal is less just a broadcast announcement than a visibility play. National coverage gives the league another tool to attract fans, sponsors, venues and ticket buyers as padel continues to gain momentum across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

“Our partnership with USA Sports marks a significant milestone for the PPL and the continued growth and visibility of padel across North America,” said Diane Gotua, Chief Commercial Officer of the Pro Padel League. “Bringing our championship matches to a premier platform like CNBC will allow us to showcase the intensity of our competition, the talent of our players, and the strength of our team-based format to a national audience.”

The 2026 PPL season opens July 9-12 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City before moving to Los Angeles from August 13-16, Playa del Carmen from September 24-27 and Guadalajara from November 19-22. The season wraps with the City’s Cup, the league’s championship event, in Miami from December 3-6.

Founded in 2023, the Pro Padel League features 10 teams across the United States, Canada and Mexico, with men’s and women’s players competing in a team-based format. The league says its events reach more than 300 million households across more than 100 countries, with matches also available globally on the PPL’s YouTube channel.
