Sara Bareilles Announces North American ‘Good Grief Tour’

Sara Bareilles will return to the stage this fall with a North American headlining tour supporting her upcoming album Good Grief.

The “Good Grief Tour” is set to begin September 9 in Boston at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. From there, the singer is scheduled to make stops in cities such as Washington D.C., Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles before wrapping up on October 19 in Seattle at The Paramount Theatre. 

Taking to social media, the singer shared, “After 7 long years and what feels like several lifetimes I am finally coming back to my favorite place, doing my favorite thing. We are heading out on the GOOD GRIEF TOUR!” 

She added that the new shows will reflect changes in her life and perspective since she last toured. 

“I am not the same person I was the last time I was on the road…so I am crafting this live experience to reflect that shift. I chose my favorite, intimate theaters, so I can see you and hear you and talk to you and dance with you and laugh with you,” Bareilles continued. 

“I want to tell you my story. The story of my grief, but also my joy and my great love and my hope and my friends… and we are designing a night that I hope you never forget. Bring your most vulnerable selves, but I think you still have to put them in those see-through plastic baggie things because we don’t get to have nice things anymore. ;)”

Tickets for the “Good Grief Tour” will go on sale beginning with artist, Verizon, and Citi presales on June 8. General ticket sales begin June 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
