Singapore Police Report At Least 14 BTS Concert Ticket Scams Since June 1

BTS ticket scams are at an all-time high.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) issued a warning on Sunday after at least 14 cases of ticket scams rolled-in since June 1. The SPF advisory noted that the victims collectively lost S$11,000.

According to SPF, victims were attempting to buy tickets to BTS’ ARIRANG Tour via social media platforms like X, Instagram, and Carousell. Once victims showed interest in purchasing tickets, they were instructed to make payments via PayNow or a PayNow QR Code, and usually, scammers would request additional payments. Then, the scammers would never follow through and fans were left without concert tickets.

SPF is currently working to remove fraudulent listings from X, while they’ve contacted Carousell to remove relevant listings.

Victims can contact the ScamShield helpline at 1799 or visit their website here.

BTS’ ARIRANG tour kicks-off with a European leg later this June, followed by gigs across North America throughout August and September. The tour continues late this year and into 2027 in Asia and Australia.
