StubHub and Chicago Sky Announce New Multi-Year Ticketing Partnership

The Chicago Sky have entered a new multi-year partnership with StubHub, naming the ticketing platform the organization’s Official Open Distribution Partner and Official Ticket Resale Marketplace.

The agreement is designed to expand ticket access for fans while increasing StubHub’s visibility throughout the team’s growing presence in the WNBA and women’s sports landscape.

Under the partnership, fans attending Sky games at Wintrust Arena will be able to access StubHub’s ticket resale marketplace and digital ticketing tools, creating additional options for purchasing seats throughout the season.

“StubHub is a particularly exciting partner for the Sky, offering fans greater flexibility and accessibility to attend Sky games,” said Alex Teodosi, the Chicago Sky’s Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “We are proud to partner with StubHub to streamline the fan experience and maximize their seating options, while exploring new collaborations across Skytown.”

The announcement arrives during a period of heightened momentum for the WNBA, where attendance, media attention, and sponsorship activity have continued to rise across the league. StubHub officials said the partnership represents another step in the company’s broader investment in women’s sports.

“The Chicago Sky have built one of the most passionate fanbases in the WNBA,” said Manny Lorras, Global Head of Basketball & Hockey Partnerships at StubHub. “We’re now able to give those fans more ways to get to games, and StubHub gets a front-row seat to one of the most exciting teams in women’s basketball.”

As part of the collaboration, StubHub branding will appear throughout Wintrust Arena during games and events, including digital floor signage. The company will also receive promotional placement across the Sky’s digital platforms, including the team website, mobile app, and email communications. Broadcast integrations tied to Sky coverage are also planned as part of the agreement.

The partnership extends beyond traditional advertising placements. StubHub will also gain access to the team’s intellectual property and branding opportunities tied to marquee moments throughout the WNBA season. The organizations said the initiative is intended to help strengthen fan engagement while creating more visibility around the Sky’s schedule and major team events.
