‘Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody’ Extends Off-Broadway Run

The Off-Broadway production of “Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody” will continue its run, announcing a second extension of its limited engagement.

Following an earlier extension that kept the production running through September 7, producers have confirmed that the musical parody will now continue performances at the 6th Floor Theater through November 1. The show first began preview performances on May 12 before officially opening on May 26.

Directed by Alan Kliffer, the production follows a series of sold-out concert performances that preceded its Off-Broadway staging. The parody is based on HBO Max’s  streaming series about a romantic relationship between two professional hockey players.
